His Presence is everywhere

Eamon and Soraya presented their majors that morning to some of the students. They explained the importance of history, how it connected it with the Bible, and then laid out how they plan to use it in their future careers. Our team and the students all ate lunch together and we got to play with all the kids random games like, hula hooping, and soccer.

Around 5pm, we met with the community to hangout and play kickball. Kickball was the Colombians Vs. The Gringos. It was super fun and funny. This was such a beautiful moment of connection with the people of Tierra Bomba. It is one of my favorite moments on the Island. After the game, one of our team members Ella got to share the gospel and little devotion. With the message the kids got crackers and juice. One of the interns who was working with Calvary got to translate the whole message for our team. He has been so helpful the whole week.

Once we returned to the church, we ate dinner, practiced rehearsal for the worship service night. During the service the worship was in Spanish and English. We got to hear about Jackie’s and Caro’s testimonies. After service we got to pray with some of the congregation. After prayer time we had our own worship and we got to pray over the Pastors, staff, and our own team members.
