Day 6 - Bitter sweet
Noelle Eberly - March 23rd, 2023
Waking up in Tierra Bomba we were all filled with a bitter sweet feeling, we did not want to say goodbye but we knew there was still so much more for us to do in Cartagena. It was our last morning on the Island and after breakfast we said our final goodbyes. We walked to the beach and took a motor boat back to Cartagena with sadness for leaving our new friends but having peace knowing the Lord is with them and providing for them. As soon as we got back to the city we quickly stored our luggage and jumped back into ministry. Working with CCA students again, but this time in Cartagena, we shared a condensed version of our major presentations. It has truly been a blessing getting to share our passions and callings with these young kids and teenagers. After lunch we all went to an elderly home to share our joy and love on the elderly. It was such a blessing to be able to brighten some of the peoples day as we danced, sang, and listened to many reminiscing stories, even though we had no idea what they were saying in Spanish. Our night concluded with our last dinner at the church and then splitting up to either get rest or explore some of the city.
